Be Cautious: Payment Fraud
We've received reports of lookalike messages, featuring our logo and name, asking for wired payments in paying for outstanding application fees. We ask that you exercise great caution when receiving and responding to any correspondence asking for your banking information or for you to enter your credit or debit card information to make a quick payment.
If you ever receive an emailed or paper bill asking for your banking information on DPD letterhead with a very fast and emergent deadline, DO NOT PROVIDE THAT INFORMATION. DPD will not ask you for your financial information via email in order to receive a wire transfer payment. DPD primarily accepts payments through our secure, online portal (Develop 901 Citizen Portal) and in-person in our service centers. DPD does not accept wired payments nor do we request payments via wire transfer.
If you're not sure that an email or letter that you've received is truly from DPD or from a DPD staff member, call one of our Service Centers below to check and verify. Our staff are more than happy to check the information that you provide.
- Downtown Service Center: (901) 636-7384
- East Service Center: (901) 222-8300
